Hey everyone… I will start this new blog with a personal project. I documented a normal dinner-preparation time at our house. The king of our kitchen is my husband, Marco. He does all the cooking and he loves it. Aren’t I lucky? ^_^
I’ve had people asking me if he is a professional cook. He would like to, but for now he’s a computer guy (it’s how I name all sys admins and engineers). Maybe when he retires from computers he’ll open his own small restaurant.
But let’s see what we are having for dinner. I see whipping cream… I already like this dinner plan!

…and peppers. Love peppers.

Man at work!

We still lack a lot of things in the kitchen (see empty spice holder on the counter). They didn’t let us pack the huge collection of spices we had back in Italy when we moved here… Apparently no food of any kind should come into the states. Whatever, we’ll just go shopping!

When I saw this house for the first time I said: Wow, this is big and gorgeous. I love the space. I want this house. My husband was just ok.
Then he saw the kitchen, and 6 gas burners and he said: Wow, I want this house.
Well, we all have our needs I guess.
p.s. Can you find the intruder?

Guess who wants to be the chef’s assistant!!
This is our third family member, Filippo. We brought him here to the Bay Area all the way from Milan (Italy).

The house chef is not really sure how Filippo can help with the cooking… can’t understand why!

What do I do in all this? A part from taking pictures and bugging everyone?
I get rid of the trash… I’m the Mrs. Tidy&Clean. Sometimes I turn into Mrs. CleanFreak ^_^

Where are whipping cream and peppers going? On the pasta, of course. Since we come from Italy, guess what we love eating…

At this point I’m starting to feel dizzy… that pepper smell is really making me even more hungry than I already am.

And here is where the “story” ends. From this point on I was too busy eating to take pictures! Dinner was delicious. Slurp! ^_^
