Part II of this session, the family portraits, will be coming up next.
Welcome to my blog!
I’m Klo (much easier to say than Klodjana, right? trust me, my name looks more difficult than it really is). I’m a wife, a mom, a photographer. I’m 28.
I became a professional photographer in 2007. Not too long ago, but I’ve put everything into it. I love my job. It is probably the best job in the world!
I love food. Vacations are so only if I go to the beach on hot summer days. I speak 4 language (Albanian, Italian, English and Turkish) and have at least 4 more on my “wish list”. One day I will learn them. My (Italian) husband spoils me by cooking every night. I am a “citizen of the world” – born and raised in Albania, lived for 7 years in Italy (where I also scored the guy willing to put up with me) and currently in the Bay Area. Future plans include moving back to Milan in a few years. I wish I could live in a place with no winter. Actually, I wish I could travel the world. Literally. My English is great but I have an accent – some find it cute or funny.

This is my crafty side working on adding a little bit of color to our family room. Fabrics are from fabric.com – Window treatment from Pottery Barn – Canvas and Paint from Michael’s, painted by your’s truly.
I promise photos once it’s finished but it will be a long while as we are missing some important pieces (of furniture) and my time to sew pillow cases (which is what the fabrics are for – accent pillows) is very, very limited. Also, more fabrics will be ordered soon.

Day at the parkNovember 1st, 2010 |
This is what happens every time I try to take photos of my son. He simply walks away!

My attempt to keep him warm with a scarf failed miserably. He has been sick in the last couple of days but won’t keep a scarf or a hat on, no matter what.

This is his “mom, stop calling me!” face.

In the end, I won. Here is the priceless giggle:
