Zoe’s 6 months session | Japanese Tea Garden, SF

August 22nd, 2010

A sneak peek from today. Even in August, San Francisco can get chilly. I’ve been seeing this cutie since she was 10 days old. And then again for her 3 months session. It doesn’t stop here… we have 2 more sessions (9 and 12 months) coming up!

Where is the summer?

August 18th, 2010

This year’s summer here in the Bay Area has been awful. Coming from the Mediterranean, everything under 90′s seems freezing to me. This year’s summer here in the Bay Area has been awful. Coming from the Mediterranean, everything under 90′s seems freezing to me.

Unfortunately, this year we haven’t been able to fit in a vacation somewhere warm enough to sunbathe. We were thinking Hawaii (went to Kaua’i last year and wanted to try Maui this time) but there’s always something that comes up. It’s either work, the birthday party, seeing the sleep consultant for kiddo’s sleep issues, travelling to Milan in fall for a photoshoot, following hubby to Miami for a 2-day conference after that… It’s little bits and pieces that don’t allow for 10 days free of anything to do that we can just take off to rest.

How does Christmas in Maui sound? In the meantime, I will live vicariously through last year’s memories…

Officially into his second year of life, my son is now working on running around to drive me even crazier. Life gets incredibly exciting by the day, though.

The First Birthday Party was exhausting, for him as much as for us… I’ll share more soon.

Isn’t the cake looking amazing? Check out Studio Cake. They did such a great job and it tasted even better than it looks. Here you can see the cake “on location”, right before we let the little monster play with it.

To the right, the cupcake toppers I made.
