I’ve been seeing this cutie since she was 10 days old. And then again for her 3 months session. It doesn’t stop here… we have 2 more sessions (9 and 12 months) coming up!

Where is the summer?August 18th, 2010This year’s summer here in the Bay Area has been awful. Coming from the Mediterranean, everything under 90′s seems freezing to me. This year’s summer here in the Bay Area has been awful. Coming from the Mediterranean, everything under 90′s seems freezing to me.
Unfortunately, this year we haven’t been able to fit in a vacation somewhere warm enough to sunbathe. We were thinking Hawaii (went to Kaua’i last year and wanted to try Maui this time) but there’s always something that comes up. It’s either work, the birthday party, seeing the sleep consultant for kiddo’s sleep issues, travelling to Milan in fall for a photoshoot, following hubby to Miami for a 2-day conference after that… It’s little bits and pieces that don’t allow for 10 days free of anything to do that we can just take off to rest.
How does Christmas in Maui sound? In the meantime, I will live vicariously through last year’s memories…

Isn’t the cake looking amazing? Check out Studio Cake. They did such a great job and it tasted even better than it looks. Here you can see the cake “on location”, right before we let the little monster play with it.

I had quite a busy day today, with two sessions back to back. First one, Olivia. Here she is in her 1st birthday party outfit. Little Miss Olive doesn’t officially become a toddler until August 11, though :)
I have to admit that as soon as I saw her outfit I thought (and said it out loud, too) ‘now I want a girl!’.
By the end we got messy with a cake smash, but this is all I have to share for now…
