Stay tuned for some more great shots of this gorgeous girl!
Welcome to my blog!
I’m Klo (much easier to say than Klodjana, right? trust me, my name looks more difficult than it really is). I’m a wife, a mom, a photographer. I’m 28.
I became a professional photographer in 2007. Not too long ago, but I’ve put everything into it. I love my job. It is probably the best job in the world!
I love food. Vacations are so only if I go to the beach on hot summer days. I speak 4 language (Albanian, Italian, English and Turkish) and have at least 4 more on my “wish list”. One day I will learn them. My (Italian) husband spoils me by cooking every night. I am a “citizen of the world” – born and raised in Albania, lived for 7 years in Italy (where I also scored the guy willing to put up with me) and currently in the Bay Area. Future plans include moving back to Milan in a few years. I wish I could live in a place with no winter. Actually, I wish I could travel the world. Literally. My English is great but I have an accent – some find it cute or funny.

Still Knocked up | Maternity | PersonalApril 24th, 2009I’m still knocked up, and will be for about 15 more weeks… Here are the most recent pictures of my bump, casual shots taken on a Saturday afternoon (thanks to my very efficient assistant/husband that took them). Here are the most recent pictures of my bump, casual shots taken on a Saturday afternoon (thanks to my very efficient assistant/husband that took them).

Our guy (yes, it’s a baby BOY), is growing really fast and we just can’t wait until he gets here. Markino and I couldn’t possibly any more excited. The fact that the nursery is almost ready makes the anticipation even worse. And who will this baby look like? I’m SO curious…
As my energy lessens so will the amount of time I can spend updating this blog. I will continue to shoot up until late July and have already booked a few limited sessions for late August (a big challenge, since my due date is on August 7) but I will, technically, be on maternity leave for a couple of months after the baby. At least until we all get into a somehow ‘regular’ schedule pattern.
Wish me good luck… :)
Gabriela | Brand New | Sneak PeekApril 23rd, 2009 |
I’m ashamed but have to say that I did this newborn session back in February but didn’t get around to posting the images on the blog… I don’t know how it slipped my mind for so long.
It must be the pregnancy brain (for whoever missed the news, I am knocked up and will have a brand new baby of my own by early August!).
Anyhow, here is a sneak peek of Gabriela, a tiny sweetheart…

I remember laughing while shooting this one. Daddy said: Go on honey, give it your best and enjoy because this is the last time you will be posing naked!
Deb | Beauty Shoot | Sneak PeekApril 22nd, 2009 |
First, as you can see, my new blog template is up and running. And I am LOVING it! :)
***
I had a fab beauty shoot on Monday with Deb, who is amazing.

I, absolutely, LOVE this one… the eyes are just amazing.

I can’t thank Tamanna (dressyourface.com) enough for the great job she did on hair and makeup.
More coming as soon as I have time to edit some more!
Working on a new blog templateApril 21st, 2009This is what I have been doing the whole afternoon. Everything is almost ready and ‘migration’ will start in a few hours. Hopefully, by tomorrow morning my brand new blog will be up and running; and in the meantime, enjoy the preview of the beauty shoot I did yesterday! More pictures from this shoot coming [...] |

Esmeralda & Alberto (an Albanian-Italian couple, just like us) will be leaving California tomorrow. Markino and I met them a couple of months ago, when they came here to finish their thesis in computer engineering. Time has come that they have to go back to Milan, Italy.
After we had a little dinner last night and then a glass of wine at our place (of course I only had water!), we realized we didn’t even have a picture together.
So, here it goes:

From left to right, Esmeralda, Alberto, Markino, me (and my after-a-big-meal 22weeks3days pregnant belly).
Aren’t they a cute couple?

Guys, it was a pleasure meeting you. Good luck with everything!
See you soon.
