Some images I never got around to post before. It’s a mix from different maternity portrait sessions… I have many more waiting to be edited and maybe some day I will update the bellies section on my website as well!

Amanda: love all the bellies! I bet you got a ton of business b/c you are pregnant yourself! :-)

Giulia: my favourite is the one with the light blue teddy bear (or is it a mouse?) sitting on the belly :-)

Last week I got my new piece of studio equipment, a beauty dish reflector that I just can’t wait to use for my upcoming model shoots. Incredibly enough, I didn’t have time to experiment with it until yesterday afternoon. My days are getting so busy lately I can’t even imagine what it will be like when the baby is here. We are finishing off the last things on the to-do list for baby because the end is near and who knows when this little guy decides to come out (btw, there are only about 6 more weeks left until my due date!).

Back to that reflector, I really like it so far but I have yet to test its full potential with a maybe a little less tired model than my lovely husband, who was not so willing to pose for me yesterday. In fact, he would have rather taken a nap. Anyway, here are a couple of shots:

He was just too tired. Taking a nap in studio…

As a bonus here is a little belly too:

I had promised myself to document this pregnancy extensively but it is easier said than done. As my belly grows, my energy for selfportraits lessens. The heaviness is not very motivating… and I will shortly embark the 9th month, nothing will get any easier for sure.

I shot with Kylie about a month ago but I have been such a procrastinator lately that the only image I posted from the shoot was this one:

On the same day we shot another 4 looks, but I will only show two more today as the rest I have yet to edit.

Other two colors coming up next… and maybe some more from these ones.

Giulia: nice! I like the first one with glasses (looks like an ad... bulgari, dior... gorgeuos!) by the way... nice dress in the last shoots!!! I want it!!! ;-)

This is the second time I shoot with Max (maxvangeli.com) and here is a little sneak peek of what we shot today:

Warming up with something soft…

Some action!

After being helpful all along during the shoot, here is Viktor’s turn to be under the spotlight. Viktor is Max’s manager and the session wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without him to set Max straight!

Many thanks to Ema for being my assistant today. I have to say that the four of us really had a great time! We topped the day off with crazy group shots. Some of those may be coming up soon.

This is a fresh sneak peek of today’s photoshoot. I have worked with Tina several times since last year when I first met her. More pictures coming up soon.

Foggy, as in most days…

Why so dressy?

Why not? :)

We are very proud parents-to-be.
By the way, bets are open: will our baby BOY be brown-eyed like myself or rather blue-eyed and blond like daddy? Leave a comment, let me know what you think!

Impressive enough, Markino still fits in the wedding suit! The tie is just the latest crazy one I got him.

Something a little more casual.

All pictures of me are self-portraits and the bump you are seeing is an almost 31weeks pregnant belly (rockin’ the 8th month right now). 9 weeks to go before the baby is here…

Why self-portraits? I hate being photographed by other people. May sound crazy, but I am totally uncomfortable in front of the camera when somebody else is behind it. It’s a little harder and time-consuming but I’ve found that self-portraits are the way to go.

Amanda: I found your blog on the bump & have been following. I love your pictures & it was great to hear your bump photos are self portraits! They are so great!! I had to do a self portrait for my bump pic last week and it was quite a challenge. You are really talented & beautiful!!

Klo: Thank you!! :) Self-portraits are not easy at all... but I've been taking mine for 3 years now. Practice makes perfect (I'm still working on it).

Mary Francis: Wonderful photos, as usual, Klo! As far as baby's eyes go...I say they'll be brown (being the dominant color and all), but you never know! I'm wondering the same about our baby. I have brown eyes, Dave has green-ish eyes. We'll see!

gremlin: if will be a girl i think would be gorgeous with you body, but colors of your husband. Sincerely i don't like curly hair so i hope straight as yours ... :)

Klo: Uhm, it's a BOY!

witchpanther: ma come siete belli eleganti!!!!....

Giulia: ok, I am not as gorgeous as you are :-), but I can understand... when in front of a camera I never know what to do with my hands, arms, face...look right? left? up down? that's why (the ONLY reason... :-) ) i am not a top model... :-P so the result is always deceiving...and I am sad because, well I am not that beauty, but...I look better than that girl in pictures... :-( I would like to work on self portraits...but at the moment I have no room at home... when I will have....I will ask you some advice... anyway....you look avery day more beautiful... you really look happy, bright... it makes me happy averytime I see your new shots... :-) as fot the bets about baby colours.... one night I dreamt we met at a supermarket (!) and your boy was.... a small version of Markino....blond, curly hair....(don't remember the eyes)

Klo: Giulia, I vote for a 'Markino mini-me' too... of course, I could be wrong. Let's see!
